This restaurant's specialty is its Cheese-and-fresh vegetable-based dishes.
Aside from a selection of Indian favorites, most of the menu focuses on
mouthwatering Swiss and other continental dishes. Cheeses form the all
important part of Swiss food. Swiss Cheese Garden also offers:
- Appetizers:
Garlic Bread and Lamb Chops with dip, Fried Mozzarella
fingers, Rahmquark Mustard Dip and the favourite Garlic-Mushroom Dip.
- Salads:
Feta & Olives, Tuna & Cheese and Caprease (Mozzarella, herbs,
tomatoes and Olive Oil)
- Soups:
Swiss Fagoli Ticinese (Clear veggie soup with pasta and Swiss
cheese) and Potato-Leek Soup.
The main course includes:
- Cheese Fondue
(Cheeses melted in wine, spices and Brandy), also served
with morels, and Raclette (Swiss Raclette Cheese with different herbs,
spices, sesame seeds, gherkins, and baby-potatoes boiled with Rosemary).
Normally, Fondue is served in a big pot, and eaten with cubes of bread. You
also get non-vegetarian fondue served with Chicken or Veal nuggets.
- Rosti:
This is pan-fried potatoes and onions baked with cheese. Rosti, a
very popular vegetarian dish from Switzerland, can also be served with
Chicken or Beef as toppings.
- Pastas:
From regular Tomato Sauce Pasta to Pasta with Blue Cheese.
- Swiss Specialties:
Geneva Paprika Chicken, Swiss Alp Goulash (Marinated
veal cooked with Swiss Herbs and sauce), Cevap (Lamb chops with onion sauce)
and Fish with Cream Cheese sauce.
Along with the regular beverages, Swiss Cheese Garden also offers Swiss Herb
Tea and variety of fruit Milkshakes, expresso coffee, and Pune's popular
Lemon Lassi - LEMSI.
